I have a recent version of Cygwin. I am having a problem with the timestamps not updating, when I save a file or touch files. Example: total 287 -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 416 Nov 22 13:50 #pcallc.p# drwxrwxr-x+ 2 Administ None 4096 Nov 22 10:32 . drwxrwxr-x+ 13 Administ None 16384 Nov 8 13:23 .. -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 166 Nov 22 10:32 Makefile -rw-r--r-- 1 Administ None 122 Nov 22 10:32 Makefile~ -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 439 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.c -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 577 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.c~ -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 82 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.h -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 83 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.h~ -rw-rw-rw- 1 Administ None 0 Nov 22 14:13 output.txt -rwxrwxrwx 1 Administ None 284435 Nov 22 10:32 pcallc.exe -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 853 Nov 22 10:32 pcallc.p -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 609 Nov 22 10:32 pcallc.p~ bash2.05b$ touch *.* total 287 -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 416 Nov 22 13:50 #pcallc.p# drwxrwxr-x+ 2 Administ None 4096 Nov 22 10:32 . drwxrwxr-x+ 13 Administ None 16384 Nov 8 13:23 .. -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 166 Nov 22 10:32 Makefile -rw-r--r-- 1 Administ None 122 Nov 22 10:32 Makefile~ -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 439 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.c -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 577 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.c~ -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 82 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.h -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 83 Nov 22 10:32 ccall.h~ -rw-rw-rw- 1 Administ None 0 Nov 22 14:13 output.txt -rwxrwxrwx 1 Administ None 284435 Nov 22 10:32 pcallc.exe -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 853 Nov 22 10:32 pcallc.p -rwxrwxr-x 1 Administ None 609 Nov 22 10:32 pcallc.p~ I would be grateful if anybody has any ideas.
