I've updated tar to version 1.3.25-5. The only change in this version of
tar is that it should now deal correctly with listed-incremental backups.
It was previously broken due to the increase in inode size manifested
in cygwin 1.5.x.

Unfortunately the size change means that the old data files stored by tar
are no longer compatible with files from the new version. This will cause
some unchanged files to be archived the first time the new tar is run.

If none of the above makes any sense to you, you can safely ignore my
mumblings. I suspect that very few cygwin users use gnu tar's
incremental features.

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions.

If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin
mailing list (see http://cygwin.com/lists.html).
