I'd say; play with temporary files.
e.g:
$ echo >/tmp/tmp_$$ "command arg1 \"arg2.1 arg2.2\" arg.3"
$ cmd /c $(cygpath -WA /tmp/tmp_$$)
$ rm /tmp/tmp_$$
/Hannu E K Nevalainen, B.Sc. EE - 59?16.37'N, 17?12.60'E
