-F, --fixed-strings
       Interpret PATTERN as a list of fixed strings, separated by  new-
       lines,  any of which is to be matched.  -P, --perl-regexp Inter-
       pret PATTERN as a Perl regular expression.

I would say that "-P..." should be on a new line.
