I run my monitor at 640x480 (often lower) because I attach my PC mostly to
my TV. I still however want to use cygwin. The main problem is because of
the program at the moment, there is not "a default", but a fixed size. If
you increased the size the setup program would become totally unusable for
people of small resolution, and that would be unacceptable.
