| Subject: | scp and sftp don't work after today's update |
| To: | cygwin AT cygwin DOT com |

I ran setup.exe today on my Win98SE box to update my Cygwin installation to the latest versions of everything. Now I can no longer use ssh (scp and sftp, specifically) to copy files over to my Debian 3.0r1 box. An "scp -v * account AT machine:dir" command properly asks for my password, indicates that authentication is successful, but then hangs on the file transfer itself. Here's the last nine lines of the scp output: debug1: Authentication succeeded (password). debug1: fd 4 setting O_NONBLOCK debug1: fd 5 setting O_NONBLOCK debug1: channel 0: new [client-session] debug1: Entering interactive session. debug1: Sending command: scp -v -d -t Temp debug1: channel 0: request exec debug1: channel 0: open confirm rwindow 0 rmax 32768 Sending file modes: C0755 3527 filename.ext Any idea what I'm doing wrong. Is there some new flag required to get this to run under Cygwin-1.5.3? Any help would be greatly appreciated. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
