Subject: Problem configuring clisp cvs head using 1.5.2-1 test release

During the configure of clisp, using the current cvs, with the following
configure line,
./configure --with-threads=POSIX_THREADS testthread

The configure process fails with the following error:
configure: error: invalid package name: threads
I tracked the problem down to the portion of the configure script which
executes:

  -enable-* | --enable-*)
    ac_feature=`expr "x$ac_option" : 'x-*enable-\([^=]*\)'`
    # Reject names that are not valid shell variable names.
    expr "x$ac_feature" : ".*[^-_$as_cr_alnum]" >/dev/null &&
      { echo "$as_me: error: invalid feature name: $ac_feature" >&2
   { (exit 1); exit 1; }; }

Which failed using the 1.5.2-1 cygwin libs, but not the 1.3.22-1 cygwin
lib.
The configure script worked on linux correctly also.
Please advise.
