I usually check the timestamps of the directories (and cygwin-announce etc.) to see if something was released. With lynx: Aug 12 01:54 Directory XFree86 Aug 12 01:54 Directory db Aug 11 22:54 Directory lynx Aug 11 22:54 Directory ssmtp Aug 11 22:54 Directory tcsh ...
