Vikram,

This is a shot in the dark, but did you *install* the "gettext" package,
which contains "libintl.a"?

Next time, please read <http://cygwin.com/problems.html> *completely* and
follow the directions there when asking for help.  FYI, I used the search
feature at <http://cygwin.com/packages/> to find out which package
contained "libintl.a".
