I was wondering what the status of multicast is in Cygwin. I read some posts by Yang-hua Chu ( Subject : support for multicast socket ) on April 30 2002 indicating that there was not support at that point. Has this status changed? I seem to have the same problem with failing to bind after setting the socket options. And I am aware that winsock constants might be different. Yet, that did not appear to solve the issue either. Any suggestions?
