Subject: | [ANN] cygipc-1.14-1 released |
cygipc is an implementation of IPC services for cygwin. Although it will eventually be replaced by the developing "cygwin daemon", cygipc is currently the more complete implementation and is used by postgresql as well as by the kde-cygwin project. The unofficial 'cygipc' package has been updated to version 1.14. It now should operate correctly on WinXP with Fast User Switching, thanks to a patch from Jason Tischler and Igor Pechtchanski. This version is NOT dependent on any new (1.5.x) features of the cygwin kernel (e.g. it does not use 64bit anything). It is a drop-in replacement for cygipc-1.13-2. The new version may be obtained here: http://www.neuro.gatech.edu/users/cwilson/cygutils/cygipc/ --Chuck -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
