Hi,

Whenever I run any program under Cygwin that attempts to access the
network such as ping, ssh, cvs and so on they fail with "Operation not
permitted", apparently when they try to create a socket.

I am running a recent version of Cygwin on Windows 95, and other Windows
programs have no problems accessing the network and sending packets.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and know a workaround?

Thanks,

Michael Day
