I tried out
* * * * * /usr/bin/date >> /d/date.log 2>&1
but my date.log is not updating ...
the cron is still not working ..
as per post by a12 I also did
cygrunsrv -E cron
cygrunsrv -R cron
cygrunsrv -I cron -p /usr/sbin/cron -a -D -e "CYGWIN=tty ntsec" -f "Cygwin
cron"
cygrunsrv -S cron
but it still is not working
