Subject: | ls Mis-reporting size of large files |
Mime-Version: | 1.0 |
For files greater than 2gb, ls is mis-reporting the size. I assume this is a known issue. Is there a planned fix? ie: windows' dir command reports: 05/03/2003 10:22 AM 2,390,947,840 bigfile.tar cygwin's ls reports: -rw-rw-rw- 1 gmc Administ 18446744071805532160 May 3 10:22 bigfile.tar What is that, some 18+ exabytes? I can only dream of a hard drive that big :-) GMc -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
