Subject: GCC permission issue

Hi,
I am using gcc to compile a simple c program. When I execute the .exe I get
an error message saying I don't have permission.

When I use ls -l the permissions are -rwxr-xr-x. I cant change the
permissions using chmod nor am I sure what I should change them to.

I realise chmod does not work in CYGWIN but what are the methods of changing
the permissions for the program to execute?

Ta

Luke Lake
