-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 HI Igor, first of all thanks for the reply. > Quoting from the Cygwin homepage: > > The Cygwin DLL works with all non-beta, non "release > candidate", ix86 > versions of Windows since Windows 95, with the exception > of Windows CE. > > AFAIK, Server 2003 is still beta. It is. And I hope my mail did not sound like a complaint. If there are problems with cygwin under 2003 I thought it would be in the interest of all of us if we get those fixed. > Thus, you'll need to debug > your problem yourself (or supply Corinna with a Server 2003 > machine -- I believe she's expressed her willingness to debug > Server 2003-related problems on that condition). I would love to supply someone with a machine. Unfortunately I don't have a spare one. But of course I am willing to do everything else possible to debug this. I would need help for this though. Pierre's e-mail suggested there are problems with the SYSTEM account under 2003 since it might be missing the SeCreateTokenPrivilege. I think debugging into that direction might help. Any instructions for me?
