IIRC, no. But it wouldn't be hard. Something like this would do the trick (very cheap): --- CUT HERE --- #!/bin/sh # # Script to 'wget' a setup.hint file for a given package pkg=$1 mirror=$2 if [ "x$pkg" = "x" ]; then echo "usage: $(basename $0) [package name] [optional mirror]" exit 1 fi if [ "x$mirror" = "x" ]; then mirror="http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/sources.redhat.com/pub/cygwin/release/ " fi cd /tmp [ -e setup.hint ] && rm -f setup.hint wget $mirror$pkg/setup.hint >/dev/null 2>&1 fgrep 'requires' setup.hint --- CUT HERE --- Very dirty actally. But after adding an option or two this would do the trick. You could also use your local cache with setup.ini .
