I have run Xwindows and WindowMaker on Win2K machine. I had to use
/usr/X11R6/bin/startxwin.bat or /usr/X11R6/bin/startxwin.sh. I can't
remember which one worked the best. I changed startxwin.bat to have a
"run wmaker" and startxwin.sh to "wmaker &" to run WindowMaker instead of
twm.

I can't test it right now because the last time I updated cygwin it broke
something and now it crashes when I try to start Xwindows. And I haven't
had time to chase the problem.
