I installed the new perl-5.8.0-2, but I am getting the Chinese Windows error message: CYGPERL5_8_0.DLL file failed to connect to output routine CYGWIN1.DLL:setlinebuf. This is with cygwin-1.3.22-1 and earlier versions. When I revert to perl-5.8.0-1, the problem goes away. My program is a Mail::Audit script invoked by fetchmail. -- Greg Matheson Experience is the best teacher because it Dr Bean's Penpal Pool gives the test first & the lesson after.
