I need to recompile libiconv-1.8 for cygwin (due to recent changes in cygwin headers the supplied library gives errors when compling clisp). From cygwin setup I get the original library + a patch+ a script. Can someone be so kind to let me know how to run the script? When I run it responds with Error: bad arguments. What are the right arguments? I tried to apply the patch by simply running patch <libiconv-1.8 but it does not work, nor if I rename the library to libiconv-1.8-orig as looking at the patch might suggest. Sorry for asking such a stupid question but I did not find any documentation in the /usr/doc/libiconv-1.8 directory besides the original documentation of the unpatched version. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
