> I need to locate cygz.dll > Any help would be appreciated. cygz.dll is a part of the zlib package. If ever you can't find a program, runtime library (dll) or anything else eg. header file, you can use <http://cygwin.com/packages/> to search for the file. If it's there you'll see what package it's in. If not, the file/program/distribution has not (yet) been ported to Cygwin.
