Hello I have made a little progress, I found mail about a problem similar to mine The solution was: chmod a+x /bin chmod a+x /lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/ now I get gcc hello.c -o hello /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cannot open crt0.o: No such file or directorycollect2: ld returned 1 exit status Should ../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld be /usr/bin/ld ? Any info/idea's will appreciated Regards Michael Please reply directly also. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
