Hi,

Found the reason but not the cure.
In PickPackageLine::paint there is a 
If (Win32::OS() == Win32::WinNT) {...} trap

My duff (production!) machine does not enter this.
When code is forced all is OK.
Both machines (prod and development) are XP Pros.
I'll find out all about this, it looks legal, I bet my registry is missing
something
(env variables are OK)
