> When I log in to the ftp server from a win32 client such as ws_ftp, the > file and directory names include the dates as part of the actual name. This can happen if the group and/or user name has spaces in it - the de-facto directory listing format for FTP assumes a fixed number of fields and will parse the listing incorrectly if any one of those fields has unexpected spaces in it.
