Try re-libtoolize-ing with current Cygwin libtool. NB: Cygwin has 2 versions of the autotools - one for packages using ac-2.13 & relevant am & libtool, and another for ac-2.5x and current am & libtool. For devel versions of the autotools to be invoked, there must *not* be an AC_PREREQ() less than 2.50 in configure.in.
