Slightly off topic: I've been trying to compile "gocr" in cygwin with limited success (even when I get it to build, it doesn't work very reliably), has anyone had any luck with another OCR/barcode recognition package in Cygwin? ( I need something to reliably be able to extract barcode data from an imagefile as part of a perl script...)
