Hello, I try to build some libraries, which in turn create *.so shared libraries. According to my tests, - names of shared libraries under cygwin have to end in .dll, - the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not searched for .dlls Is this correct? Are there some workarounds to configure cygwin to behave like a unix-system with respect to shared libraries? Any hints are welcome. Please send a copy of your answer to schnoerr AT mailzone DOT com Thank you in advance, Claudius --------------------------------------------------------- This Mail has been checked for Viruses Attention: Encrypted mails can NOT be checked! ** Diese Mail wurde auf Viren geprueft Hinweis: Verschluesselte mails koennen NICHT auf Viren geprueft werden! --------------------------------------------------------- -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
