Okay, I'm trying to do some stuff with time so downloaded the gnu time command from the install site. A couple of other things also got grabbed, I think they were texinfo and fi I forget. Point being now when I build an executable it's not executable and chmod won't let me make it executable. I thought I saw this discussed on the list recently but couldn't find it in the archive. WTF did I do! and how can I undo it.
