Hi Corinna, I'm having trouble with cygwin crontab. Basically, I'm trying to run a cygwin perl script that does some scp from windows using windows putty-scp to linux and solaris boxes. I've tested the cygwin perl script with putty-scp and it works well, but not with cron. I'm not sure if the following command will start the cron server on cygwin. But I executed this. cygrunsrv -I cron -p /usr/sbin/cron -a -D I got the above info from /usr/docs/Cygwin/cron.README I'm not getting any basic cron stuff working also. Please help. Thanks, Smithesh. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
