After more investigation of the problem system, I found that I cannot install other programs as well. Or I can install but then not run them without a crash. It would appear that the XP installation on my system is damaged. I believe this has nothing to do with cygwin's setup whatsoever. Sorry for the confusion. _____________________________________________________________________ -Dino Morelli mailto:dino DOT morelli AT snet DOT net ICQ: 3497246 http://wasabi.dynip.com _____________________________________________________________________ "He who laughs last thinks slowest." -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
