Subject: compiling OpenLDAP 2.1.4 with back-sql using Windows-ODBC

Hi,

I have succesfully compiled the openldap 2.1.4. in standard configuration.
The server and clients are properly working.

I now want to extend the scope and add the back-sql server extention to it
to have LDAP access to an oracle database.

./configure --enable-sql

does check for unix ODBC Driver managers and therfore fails

I assume that the driver manager I have to use is in /lib/w32api/libodbc32.a
But, how to get this work with openldap.

Does someone has experience with using WindowsODBC from within unix
applications ?

Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards

Roman
