Subject: Permission denied when trying "umount"
Date: Thu, 5 Sep 2002 10:46:43 -0500
MIME-Version: 1.0

Hi,

Cygwin version: 1.3.12-cygwin-1-3-12-1
Environment: Windows NT 4.0

I searched the Cygwin FAQ and mailing list archives and
haven't found a reference to this so I'm asking the list.

Whenever I do the following command:

    $ umount /usr

I get the following response:

    umount: /usr: Permission denied

Why? How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Jim Gfesser
