This isn't a critical issue, so don't sweat it. Maybe you might want
to wait until a few more fixes become necessary? Also, I don't know
if this is localized to x86-elf binaries or x86 in general, but there
were some nasty threads on the gcc mailing list regarding 3.2
silently building bad binaries. Here are the links to the relevant

You probably were already aware of these, but I posted just in case
