I am working in a project that utilizes rsync over ssh called from a perl script on cygwin on windows 2000. I am experiencing an odd problem where on certain hardware, rsync returns an error status to the perl script, even though the sync apparently occurred correctly, for instance, the files transferred. I don't have this problem on a Dell or a VMware virtual machine I have here. The problem occurs only on a kind of white box machine a client of mine has several of. I was wondering if any of you have seen a similar problem before, and possible causes? I know there is probably much more technical information I could give that would help in tracking this down, but as the problems only occur on machines at a client's site, I don't have all that information readily available. Thanks in advance for any help. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
