Read the thread w/subject "newline/linefeed problem with CVS". I'm dead with CVS until I find an older working cygwin. Nothing else changed in my setup. Currently, the oldest cygwin I can find is 1.3.10-1. I'm pretty sure 1.3 was working, but I don't have the earlier ones.
