I have a similar problem with someone along the line caching pages. My
highly inelegant solution
has been to hit refresh 3 - 4 times when I am visiting a page I know is
victimized in this fashion.
Note, not all web sites I use are cached in this manner, but Cygwin and gcc
surely are...
