That doesn't reproduce the issue for me. I have to use sleep 24h or trap
true SIGHUP.

I have:
rxvt                2.7.2-10
bash                2.05b-2

$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 BARBECUEWORLD 1.3.12(0.54/3/2) 2002-07-06 02:16 i586 unknown

If there is a fix to this, it shouldn't kill processes started with nohup.
