Subject: | mkpasswd -d doesn't return all users from NT domain |
Mime-Version: | 1.0 |
Hi there we have a windows NT 4.0 domain. I installed the newest cygwin on a Windows 2000 Professional PC and also tried the same thing on a Windows XP and on the Primary Domain Controller which is running Windows NT 4.0 There are approx 400 Users in the domain. When I run mkpasswd -d (or for that matter mkpasswd -d domain_name) I get the first 12 users from the domain. No error message, the output just stops in the middle of the users whose names are starting with the letter 'a' Even on the domain controller if i do the mkpasswd -l I get the same output of the first 12 users. Does anyone have any hint/idea/information on what I could do to get all users from the domain (the user manager from windows shows all users properly. Also if I use other programming/domain tools I always get all ~400 users, just not with mkpasswd in cygwin.)
