Here is the entry for 'test' done by mkpasswd -l 
as I have no domain users.
test:unused_by_nt/2000/xp:1006:513:U-
LOCALHOST\test,S-1-5-21-1743480672-
7889942-740312968-1006:/home/test:/bin/bash  

The GUID is the same.

It puts it into the None group, whereas the only 
change I made was to make sure that 'test' is in 
the 'Guests' group.
