The best thing I can figure is to do this and add ~ftp/bin to your path so
you don't have to have multiple copies of the cygwin1.dll lying around.
This is surely asking for trouble too since Setup won't install a new
cygwin1.dll in this location, but maybe you can write a script to take
care of that.

Just an idea. Hopefully there is a better solution and I await it
patiently. :-)
