/var/lohg/ssh.log says: "Bad owner or mode for /var/empty" Inside Cygwin, I see this owner and modes for that directory: drwxr-xr-x 2 Administ Administ 0 Jul 29 17:58 empty In the windows side, the directory has the "everybody - Full control" ACL.
