In response to a problem me and a few others have had using 'man', I believe the problem is with the latest version of gzip, included in the base package. The version number is 1.3.1. The problem only arises if you use the /usr/man/catx directories to gzip and store preformatted man documents. Those files are corrupted by gzip, but apparantly it doesn't happen with the older 1.2.x gzip. _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
