Subject: RE: bash 2.05a and cygwin.bat: Why does not bash read .bashrc

I'm sorry,
I've read the bash manual before, but mixed up the items in the invocation
section: all these "interactive login shell", "non-ineractive shell with
the --login option", "ineractive shell that is not a login shell" are a bit
confusing to read.

1) So, to be sure, can you confirm, that i understand everything right now:
before the etc/.profile contains the invocation of ~/.bashrc and now
ets/.profile doesn't contain this?

2) What are the *.sh files in etc/profile.d directory (that etc/.profile
looks for)?

Best regards,
Alexei Lioubimov
