Subject: | Customising 'ssh' colours |
OK, the LS_COLORS works with a ~/.profile now. $TERM=cygwin, according to 'env' so how do I get the directory listings with 'ssh' to show-up in LS_COLORS? Garry > I recently changed my 'ls' colours by hard-coding the LS_COLORS list from a > Linux machine into cygwin's '/etc/profile' and exporting after 'dircolors' >> Better don't change the file coming with the distro. Either change or >> create your own ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc file or, if you need a systemwide >> setting, add a file with ".sh" suffix to /etc/profile.d. > failed to do the job properly. However, it doesn't work with 'ssh' which > defaults to the original 'ls' colours.
