PT>> 3) The new binutils has something to do with the crash I've found the following: Old 'ld'(200110) seems to place the following symbols and the first '.data_cygwin_nocopy' on a the same place - '_data_end__' and 'wsock_started'. New 'ld' places them in the following order: 1. '_data_end__' 2. first '.data_cygwin_nocopy' section and 'wsock_started' starting 4 bytes after '_data_end__'. Of course it may have nothing to do with the crash - if so just tell me and I'll shut up :) -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
