Apologies for replying to the announcement for a bug report... There seems to be a bug with the search algorithm in Find on Cygwin (maybe to do with the underlying cygwin filesystem emulation code). cd /cygdrive/d ; find . -type f doesn't show all the files. This can be seen by using the Redhat 7.3 installation CD, for example. The files are certainly visible by win2k itself under "my computer - cd rom",etc. Regards, Hin-Tak Leung -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
