Hi Peter,

Thanks a lot for providing this! I had been using a locally compiled zsh
for a while, and was wondering whether someone (me?) should package it for
Cygwin.

One suggestion.  On http://www.fruitbat.org/Cygwin/zsh/zsh.notes you
suggest to do:

         First, make a link from /etc/zprofile to profile:
         $ cd /etc ; ln -s profile zprofile

         Next, create a profile.d file to set zsh things if needed:
         $ cd /etc/profile.d
         $ vi zsh.sh
         -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
         if [ "X$ZSH_NAME" != "X" ]; then
           export SHELL=/bin/zsh
         fi
         -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wouldn't it be a good idea to do this within the zsh package? There
shouldn't be a reason for someone not to want this, right?
(The last note, changing cygwin.bat, is obviously not something that should
be done automatically. :-) )

     I always wondered about the meaning of life. So I looked it
     up in the dictionary under "L" and there it was - the meaning
     of life. It was not what I expected. - Dogbert
