New to the list and not a programmer.

I am trying to compile mbsystems (swath bathymetry program related to GMT)
it complains about not finding rpc/xdr.h. After some digging around I found
that this header is not included in cygwin. Although it has been mentioned
a few times on this list in the past, I didn't find a solution that still
existed (arpc is a dead, I think). Is it possible to compile a program that
includes rpc/xdr.h?
