HI, I use Cygwin Inetd to start the cygwin FTpd and it works quite well but i wanted to start Inetd without the Dos console. I Have senn in the source code of inetd that there is a AllocConsole but if i comment it inetd is started in daemon mode but When i try to make a ftp transaction it fails i have: connect 10061 althought inetd is running. How can i do to make inetd running silently like on Winnt where Inetd is a service and it is not started in a dos console. thanks. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
