I'm pretty sure it's a cygwin encantaion issue. I'm also fairly
sure that owing to it's obscurity that it might have been neglected
in code. Heck , how many times have you had to global hook windows?

All the examples seem to desire #pragma data_seg("foo").

I've tried variations of __attribute__((section(".GLOBALS")));
and other encantaions, but nothing works yet.

I'm willing to step up , if others are willing to step down.
It would take some effort to configure myself into the cygwin
cvs kind-o-deal, but it aint worth the trip if nobody
wants to help me with the build or other issues.

I like *nix best too, but occasionally I must degrade myself and
work micro-stiff as well.
